The latest Dorchester area planning applications to be approved by Dorset Council

The former Royal Yeoman pub at Dorchester Road, Grimstone has been granted planning permission for conversion back to a house.

The site is currently used as a café, restaurant and B&B with a campsite to the rear used by exempt organisations.

Other local applications approved by Dorset Council include:

Hintock Farm House, Wolfeton Eweleaze Road, Charminster, change of use of land for equestrian use, replacement of existing barn to create stables, level the ground and construct riding arena;

Sarsen House, 10 Winters Lane, Portesham, erect detached garage and studio outbuilding to replace existing garage, shed/boiler room and garden room;

6 Glebeland Close, West Stafford, erection of ancillary accommodation;

Fairmont, Weymouth Road, Martinstown, erection of barn/stable;

Austral Farm, Main Road, Alton Pancras, conversion of agricultural barn into a single dwelling;

Spring Glen, Bockhampton Lane, Lower Bockhampton, agricultural building, prior approval not required;

Charity Farm, Main Street, Litton Cheney, change of use of Old Tithe Barn from holiday unit to home;

Rocket, Winters Lane, Waddon, single storey storage workshop building;

Tessel, Tolpuddle, replacement of conservatory with single storey rear extension and erection of first floor extension over existing garage.
