The results are in for the Poundbury Rotary Club photography competition.

More than 50 dog portraits were submitted and £442 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Congratulations to the winner George and his dog Henry, who have won a portrait from the talented Carolyn Fields Art.

The runners up are Julie, who has won a grooming session for her dog Chuka, and Rachel, who has won a stay for her dog Henri at Casterbridge Kennels.

A spokesman for Poundbury Rotary Club said: "We cannot thank you all enough for your continued support, especially during the last year.

"Thank you also to our judges, Finnbarr Webster and Neil Crick ARPS, who had a very hard task on their hands, we couldn't have chosen just one."
