The Thomas Hardy Victorian Fair will be going ahead this Sunday.

Join a guided tour around the town, watch Victorian craft demonstrations at Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum, pick up a treat from the Victorian food market and listen to a live performance by Tatterdemalion in the Borough Gardens.

The events are free but the tours and demonstrations are ticketed and can be booked here.

There will also be a special online production celebrating Thomas Hardy's love for his hometown and you will be able to see what life was like in Victorian/Edwardian Dorchester.
