DORCHESTER restaurant Wagamama is asking for an extension to its drinks licence.

The Brewery Square business wants to be able to stay open and serving drinks until midnight each day, with the premises able to stay open for a half-hour beyond that.

It is also asking to amend its Premises Licence to be able to open until 5am on New Year's Day.

It currently has a drinks licence until 11pm with 'late night refreshment' until 11.30pm.

Public comments on the proposal can be sent to the licensing team at Dorset Council until July 9th.
