A Dorset festival of wellbeing is inviting businesses to bring staff along for the ultimate restorative away day and raise money for good causes.

Wellbeing by the Lakes, which takes place at Sculpture by the Lakes near Dorchester, is hosting an exclusive corporate charity day on September 7, prior to the four-day festival beginning on September 8.

Businesses can sign up to bring hard-working teams along for a day of wellness-boosting experiences all set within the multi-award-winning 26-acre sculpture park at Pallington.

The event has been curated with the workforce in mind, with activities designed to inspire, engage, relax, and promote connection. Businesses signing up will be supporting good causes too, with a donation to a nominated charity included in the price of each ticket.

Nasreen El-Mariesh, Wellbeing by the Lakes festival director, said: "Supporting staff wellbeing and ensuring colleagues feel appreciated and vvalued are key concerns for business leaders at the moment. This is a great way for them to do both, as well as an opportunity to bring their teams together to reconnect - especially important given the shift to hybrid and home working since the pandemic.

"We're offering exclusive access to this beautiful and tranquil sculpture park and a host of inspiring and wellness enhancing experiences - alongside the opportunity to raise money for their chosen charity too. This is set to be a fun, worthwhile and beneficial experience and we're excited to share it with like-minded businesses and their teams."

The event will include a range of inspiring talks at the Riverside Area hosted by the leading expert Becki Houlston and entrepreneur Warren Munson, host of the Evolve to Succeed podcast.

These will include mindfulness in the workspace with Chris Finn and Dorset Mind; Staff Wellbeing with Warren Munson, Lush, and Heather Graham; 'Epigenetics – what is it and how can it help to keep yourself and workforce well' with Dr Andie Siggers, Pilates at Your Desk with Pilates teacher and author Kerrie-Anne Bradley, and The Power of Breath to ease stress & anxiety with Tracey Howes of Functional Breathwork – amongst others.

Attendees will also have access to the art gallery and kitchen garden, the busy marketplace with shopping, food and drinks, and be able to enjoy walks around the sculpture park, where more than 30 sculptures are installed. Parking is also included, but spaces are limited, and access will be on a first come, first served basis, so car sharing is encouraged.

Tickets are just £17.50 – with £7.50 going to charity. Or all-inclusive tickets, which include two drop-in classes/sessions, are £45, with £10 going to charity.

With the all-inclusive ticket attendees can choose two restorative sessions from a menu of movement classes, mindfulness and immersive sound experiences. The 45-minute movement classes include Pilates, yoga and breathwork, there will also be a 30 minutes sound healing taster session, or a 30 minute floating guided meditation on offer.
