TWO people are recovering after a crash in Dorchester.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: "We received a report at 5.54pm on Tuesday, August 12 of collision involving a car and a motorbike on Slyers Lane.

"Officers attended alongside the ambulance and fire services, and road closures were put in place.

"The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. 

"An occupant of the car was reported to have sustained minor injuries.

"Vehicle recovery was arranged and the local authority was notified due to reports of oil on the road."
