Vegan event offers opportunity to check out something different
A free vegan summer market is returning to Dorchester this weekend.
Dorchester Vegan Summer Market is set to return at the historic Maumbury Rings.
The free community event on Sunday, August 4 will have around 50 stalls, many of which will present goods created by local independent businesses.
There will also be stalls featuring health and beauty care, ethical clothing, eco-friendly products, jewellery, as well as information and advice.
A spokesperson said: "With a lovely outdoor grass venue everyone can come and enjoy this superb event.
"And with a massive amphitheatre you can bring your own blankets or chairs for relaxing and dining.
"With all stalls under gazebos the Vegan Summer Market can go ahead rain or shine and, if weather permits, there will be an inflatable play zone with bouncy castles and slides, an additional attraction for the children and exciting free Gong Bath sessions resonating throughout the rings for everyone to enjoy.
"So whether you're vegan or just curious about the fastest growing phenomenon of our time, everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday, August 4. Make it a date in your diary.
The summer market will be from 10am until 4pm and is fully accessible throughout the venue
Well-behaved dogs on leads are also welcome.
