West Dorset MP will be 'relentless' in ensuring improvements are made at Dorchester South station

West Dorset MP Chris Loder said he will be "relentless in making sure we get Dorchester South station sorted" following talks about improvements needed.
Mr Loder, chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on South Western Railway, hosted South Western Rail (SWR) managing director Claire Mann and Network Rail's route director for Wessex, Mark Killick, for talks about the future after the pandemic and the improvements that need making.
He said: "I will be relentless in making sure we get Dorchester South station sorted as well as the Heart of Wessex line train service."
The group was also well attended by industry representatives and other MPs.
Mr Loder worked on the railways for 20 years and said his efforts are ensuring that the feedback from people in Dorset is going straight to the highest levels at SWR and Network Rail.
