Wondering what to do this weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.

We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Dorchester Beerex

Dorchester's popular beer festival is back and kicks off on Friday! Also taking place on Saturday, expect up to 80 beers, around 21 ciders and leave with your own commemorative glass. Tickets must be booked in advance.

Saturday: Teas and Talks: For The Benefit of Example

Join Steve Poole at Shire Hall as he explores the old custom of hanging people at he scene of their crime in South West England. And did you know, crime-scene hanging was still taking place as late as 1830?

Sunday: Milk and salt soap making workshop

Do you have some cold process soap making experience? Get yourself along to this workshop! You'll make two batches of soap - around 1kg - plus the silicone mould, as well as enjoying cake, tea or coffee!
