Wondering what to do this weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.

We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Dorchester Country Market

The lovely team that makes up Dorchester Country Market will be back at the United Church hall, off South Street, on Friday morning from 9am to 12noon. Expect a range of delicious cakes and bakes, plants, homemade gifts and more.

Saturday: Raizing Steam

It wouldn't be the weekend without some live music! If you like rock, get yourself down to Hardy's pub in Trinity Street and enjoy covers from Raizing Steam from 10pm. There will also be a drinks deal from 8pm to 10pm!

Sunday: Virginia Woolf: Killing the Angel

A new one-woman play with music by Lucy Stevens is coming to Dorchester Corn Exchange on Sunday. It weaves the life of writer Virginia Woolf, as expressed in her own words, with music and songs by female composers.
