Wondering what to do this weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.
We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:
Friday: Heckle and Squelch comedy club
A comedy show with a difference is coming to Dorchester prison. Local comedy club Heckle and Squelch is hosting this special with Clinton Baptiste and support acts. There will be a bar and the event is raising money for Weldmar Hospicecare.
Saturday: Armour and Embankment
Around 70 Second World War vehicles will be making their way through the town to stop at Brewery Square. Don't miss this incredible sight and have a chance to speak to the group about the amazing vehicle.
Join Music at St Peter's for coffee, cake and a short recital given by its assistant organist, William Bishop. He has just completed his A levels and is taking up an organ scholarship at Tewkesbury Abbey in September. Admission is free.
You can add your events and find more on our What's On page.
Hive Beach Company is the exclusive sponsor of Dorchester Nub News' What's On section. Without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to the people of Dorchester.
