Wondering what to do this weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.
We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:
Friday: A brief history of jazz
Enjoy the sounds of Paul Higgs on trumpet, Gabriel Keen on piano, Neil Bullock on drums and Jerome Davies on double bass in this musical tour of the history of jazz. Expect hits by Louis Armstrong, Miles Davis, Chet Baker and many more.
Saturday: Dorchester Choral Society Concert
Bring chairs, rugs and picnics to the Borough Gardens to enjoy a selection of light choral music from Dorchester Choral Society. There will be a mix of jazz, Shakespeare's songs and more.
The second pop up in the yard is taking place outside De Danann Antiques Centre and Loving by Nature. Be entertained with tunes from Vinyl Van while browsing artwork, ceramics, vintage wares and much more.
You can add your events and find more on our What's On page.
Hive Beach Company is the exclusive sponsor of Dorchester Nub News' What's On section. Without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to the people of Dorchester.
