Wondering what to do this bank holiday weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.

We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Music at the Pavilion

Pavilion in the Park's popular Music at the Pavilion is back for the summer. The free event features local singers and musicians on the Great Field in Poundbury from 12noon to 1pm. Relax and enjoy lunchtime with a difference.

Saturday: Teddy bear afternoon tea

Boo's Toy Shop in Poundbury is hosting a teddy bear afternoon tea with sandwiches, cookies, cakes, scones and more. Children also receive a story book, colouring pencils and activity sheet.

Sunday: Coffee concert

St Peter's Church presents the first in its series of summer coffee concerts. Enjoy coffee and a short recital by one of this year's choral Scholars, Amy Bolster. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

You can add your events and find more on our What's On page.

Hive Beach Company is the exclusive sponsor of Dorchester Nub News' What's On section. Without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to the people of Dorchester.
