Wondering what to do this weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.
We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:
Friday: Tolpuddle Martyrs' Festival
Thousnads are expected to join the Tolpuddle Martyrs' Festival this weekend to commemorate the six men who formed a trade union in the 1830s, leading to the foundation of modern-day trade unionism. There's a great line-up, including Billy Bragg.
Known locally as 'Mr. Velvet Voice', Tony Lowe will be back entertaining audiences in Dorchester. The swing singer will be performing at Dorchester's Borough Gardens on Saturday afternoon, a perfect opportunity for a picnic in the park.
Take a break on Sunday, sit back, relax and enjoy the coffee concert at St Peter's Church. Listen to a short recital of songs presented by Flora Davies before tucking into coffee and cake.
You can add your events and find more on our What's On page.
Hive Beach Company is the exclusive sponsor of Dorchester Nub News' What's On section. Without community-minded partners like them we would not be able to produce dedicated, clickbait-free news to the people of Dorchester.
