Wondering what to do this weekend? Dorchester Nub News has you covered.

We've picked three events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:

Friday: Fireside Tales from Wessex

Join Tim Laycock at Dorset Museum to hear and participate in folk tales and story songs from Thomas Hardy's era. The author would listen to his grandmother in front of the fire on winter evenings and later in life included many of the themes and characters in his novels.

Saturday: Awful Auntie

See David Walliam's Awful Auntie brought to life at Maumbury Rings. Adapted and performed by Heartbreak Productions, this open-air theatre show is sure to delight the whole family. Take a picnic and enjoy the afternoon outside.

Sunday: Into the Woods

Amy and Tobias return to the Convivial Rabbit micropub on Sunday afternoon to celebrate Amy's third album, Into the Woods'. Expect some new music from the new album, as well as some old favourites.

You can add your events and find more on our What's On page.
