Friday: Cocktail Night at Bonjour Cafe
Join Bonjour Cafe in Poundbury and Dark Bear Bar for a pop-up cocktail night at Bonjour, with the best cocktails you've ever had! Friday nights from 5pm to 9pm throughout September. The perfect spot for an after-work drink in the sunshine.
Friday: Moscow Drug Club
A curious musical place where elements of Berlin Cabaret, Latin Tinge, French musette and storytelling meet.
Imagine having a few to drink and staggering arm-in-arm into the darkness of an Eastern European cobbled street and stumbling into a bar where Django Reinhardt and Tom Waits are having an after-hours jam with the local Tziganes.
Combining their original material with songs by the likes of Jacques Brel, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen and Eartha Kitt, Moscow Drug Club deliver an intoxicating and intimate musical experience at Dorchester's Corn Exchange on Friday, September 15.
Saturday: Music at the Pavilion
Join Pavilion in the Park, in Poundbury, for live music on Saturday, September 16 from 12noon to 2pm. Local live musicians will be entertaining the community, bring a picnic or grab lunch from the cafe and relax and enjoy a couple of hours of live local music.
Saturday: Rock Choir Celebration Show
On Saturday, September 16, the Rock Choir in Poole, Weymouth and Dorchester will come together to perform two celebration concerts, marking their 10th anniversary and raising funds for Amelia's Rainbow.
The show will take place at The Thomas Hardye Theatre in Dorchester. Expect energy, enthusiasm, laughs and tears as 120 singers take to the stage to perform a varied repertoire of contemporary songs from Fleetwood Mac to The Four Tops with a little Michael Buble in there for good measure.
A matinee show will be held at 1pm, and an evening show at 7pm.
