Saturday: St George's Day Fair

A family afternoon of entertainment, games and stalls on Fordington Green, Dorchester, to celebrate St George's Day. Come and try your luck on the raffle and tombola or have a go at duck-hoopla. Enjoy performances from Festus Derrimen and One Voice Choir, then indulge in some beautiful homemade cakes. Or if you're feeling really hungry, there are pork rolls being served next to the beer tent!

Saturday: Dorchester Euro Cafe

Dorchester Euro Café brings together people who believe that the UK should re-join the European Union. Its monthly gatherings are warm, welcoming and social, providing a space to find support, share information, or just have a friendly chat with like-minded people.

Meeting at Vivo Lounge, Brewery Square, Dorchester, from 3pm on Saturday, April 22.

Saturday: Choral Evensong for Easter

A monthly, cathedral-style service of Choral Evensong, this week celebrating Easter from 4.30pm in St Peter's Church, Dorchester. The music for Easter includes: Parry 'My soul, there is a country', Sumsion 'Preces & Responses', Howells 'Gloucester Service' and Stanford 'Ye choirs of new Jerusalem'. Graham Scott is at the organ and Ian Davis directing. Do join us for a glass of wine after the service.

Sunday: The Village – New and Expectant Parent Event

Visit Loving by Nature in Dorchester and meet a variety of service providers to help you in your journey to new parenthood. Find out more about cloth nappies, baby wearing, infant feeding, yoga, massage and more. 

With delicious vegan food cooked by Tia of @eatthrivegrow and sling support from West Dorset Slings. There will also be a maternity wear and reusable nappy swap as well as the launch of the Dorset Cloth Nappy Library - if you are expecting, with a newborn or if you have older children all are welcome to this friendly space to come and be nurtured by us.
