Friday: Free Coffee Morning

Relate Dorset & South Wiltshire hosts its monthly coffee morning from 10am to 12noon at Inspirations in Poundbury. Why not come along and have a free drink, meet other local people and find out about local events? Find us just off Middle Farm Way, next door to Castle Vets. Hope to see you there!

Sunday: Summertime Fayre

Age UK North, South and West Dorset are hosting a Summertime Fayre on the Great Field in Poundbury from 10am on Sunday, July 9. This is the first year of running the event, which promises to be a great day out for the whole family with stalls, food, bouncy castles, music, a tug of war and more!

Sunday: Coffee Concert

On Sunday, July 9 at 11.45am – immediately after its monthly cathedral-style service of Choral Eucharist – St Peter's Church in Dorchester presents the last in its summer series of coffee concerts.

This is a vocal recital given by soprano Verity Joy. Verity's programme includes music by Purcell, Mozart, Elgar and Rodgers & Hammerstein. Admission is free and includes coffee and cake as you listen!

Sunday: Swingtime in the Gardens

Come and enjoy an afternoon of music from some fabulous big bands in Dorchester Borough Gardens, on Sunday, July 9 - bring a picnic, blankets, chairs, family and friends - and make the most of the lovely weather.

There will also be classic cars, refreshments, a grand raffle and more. A lovely afternoon out from 12noon onwards. All in aid of the Fortuneswell Cancer Trust - that seeks to improve the services for cancer patients in Dorset, mainly at Dorset County Hospital.
