Coronavirus cases have more than doubled across Dorset over the last week.
Public Health Dorset reports there are 42 confirmed cases in the last seven days in the Dorset Council area, compared to 14 on June 4, and 74 in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council area, compared to 34 on June 4.
A new app dedicated to Dorchester has already been downloaded more than 1,000 times.
Discover Dorchester was launched less than a month ago by Dorchester Business Improvement (DBID) in partnership with Dorchester Town Council and local company Key Digital.
A new Covid-19 vaccination site has opened in Dorchester.
Online pharmacy Pharmacy2U has opened the centre in High West Street and vaccinations have already begun.
