Detectives investigating a report of rape in Dorchester are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

Those who have received both doses of the coronavirus vaccine will no longer need to self-isolate from Monday (August 16).
Instead, those who are double jabbed - along with those aged under 18 - who have been identified as close contacts of positive Covid-19 cases are advised to get a free PCR test as soon as possible.

Covid-19 cases remain high across Dorset, but have slightly decreased in the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch (BCP) Council area.
Public Health Dorset reports that there are 1,151 confirmed cases in the last seven days in the Dorset Council area, compared to 1,071 on August 6, and 1,915 in the BCP Council area, compared to 2,025 on August 6.
