Property professionals, particularly landlords and letting agents or those thinking of joining the profession, are invited to kickstart the 2023 Landlord Forums on May 18.
Tickets have sold out already to attend in person, but you can still take part online.
The free forums, run by Dorset Council, provide an open floor for property professionals to work smarter with free expert advice, to get ahead with legislation and to work with the council to meet housing standards.
The first forum of the year, to be held in Dorchester, will cover energy efficiency standards, a mortgage professional's take on the mortgage market and the impact of cost of living for tenants.
For the first time guests will get to hear about Dorset Council's forthcoming housing consultation taking place this summer and how property professionals can get involved.
Cllr Graham Carr-Jones, portfolio holder for Housing and Community Safety, said: "Landlords play an essential role in the housing market and by working together we can deliver safe and well-maintained homes for our residents, while saving landlords and agents time and money by getting advice and support they can rely on.
"Being a landlord or agent is a complex and time-consuming job, so I urge anyone who is one or thinking of becoming one to join us at the forum."
To attend virtually, head to the Dorset Council YouTube channel and log on for the start at 6pm on May 18 or follow this link https://youtube.com/live/d9PSrv3Dxjg
Landlords can also join the forum, previously known as the Landlord Local Authority Partnership (LLAP) and benefit from discounted licensing fees for houses of multiple occupation, a dedicated mailbox for enquiries and mailings of essential information, as well as the forum events.
Don't miss out on future events and register to become a member of the forum by visiting Landlord Forum - Dorset Council.
