Families visiting during the school holidays can take part in the island's popular Summer of Play programme. There is an activity trail open daily until 6 Sept and other drop-in events running most days throughout August (see below). These activities are designed to encourage children to connect with nature through hands-on experiences and have lots of fun.

Summer of Play Activity Trail: Runs daily until 6 Sept - 10:00-17:00

Minibeast Mondays: 11:15-15:00

Hapa Zome Nature Printing Tuesdays: 11:00-15:00

Wild Wednesdays: 11:00-15:00

Squirrel Challenge Thursdays: 11:00-15:00

Pokémon Craft Lab Saturdays: 11:00-15:00

The Bee Circus Walkabout: Sat 22 & Sat 29 - 11:00-11:45 & 13:30-14:15

All events are free, no booking required, normal boat and admission fees apply.
