Two new guests join Mike at Dorchester Arts for this evening's concert.

John Maddocks is a superb clarinettist, with his own acclaimed, dynamic approach to New Orleans jazz. He's one of the most widely known and respected players on the UK scene.

Nicholas D Ball is one of anew generation of drummers with a love for the hot jazz of the 1920s. Based in London, he plays with that city's top performers and with many international visitors.

Completing the trio on piano, Mike plays the role of Jelly Roll Morton, who modestly billed himself "The Creator of Jazz". No pressure there then! It will certainly be exciting.
