Dorchester: New deputy headteacher for Prince of Wales School

The Prince of Wales School has announced the appointment of its new deputy head teacher, Mrs Corinne March.

Mrs March, currently a leader and teacher at Wyke Regis Primary Federation, brings a wealth of experience to the role, including specialist early years foundation stage expertise and a secure knowledge and understanding of leading provision for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

She will start at the school after Easter.

Headteacher Gary Spracklen said: "We are delighted to have appointed Mrs Corinne March as deputy headteacher after a rigorous recruitment process during which we met a range of highly qualified candidates.

"Corinne joins The Prince of Wales School at a very exciting time for us as a school. She will be a key member of our leadership team as we progress our #InspiredToLearn vision forward and continue to deliver our unique blend of world-class educational provision."

Mrs March, who will begin her new role in the summer term, will be helping to lead the team at The Prince of Wales School and The Prince of Wales Pre-School who have a wide range of experience in successfully meeting the needs of children with significant barriers to their learning.
