Enjoy a craft ale afternoon with Dorchester's Copper Street Brewery this weekend.

The family-run shop and tap room is inviting customers to the event on Saturday, May 29.

Beer-lovers can sample a selection of tipples between 12noon and 8pm, all of which have been brewed on site. Copper Street Brewery will host its event outdoors, with tables available to seat up to 30 guests, in line with current government restrictions.

Anthony Buckton from Copper Street Brewery said: "We've been overwhelmed with the amount of support we've received since re-opening, and it's been inspiring to see the square buzzing with life again.

"We wanted to help boost the lively atmosphere by hosting a craft ale afternoon, introducing new and existing customers to our variety of delicious homemade ales, porters, bitters, and stouts."

Copper Street Brewery has various slots available to book for the event: 12noon to 2pm and 6pm to 8pm. Booking is essential and slots can be booked by calling the brewery on 07970 766622.

Charlotte Spracklen, centre manager at Brewery Square, added: "Copper Street Brewery's craft ale afternoon is the perfect way to celebrate the fast-approaching summer and beginning of the bank holiday weekend. We're looking forward to introducing more exciting events to Brewery Square over the coming months, helping bring our local community together for a truly enjoyable day out."
