A DRINKS licence is being requested for a new Dorchester town centre food business.
The application to Dorset Council comes from Mrs Soorya Rajan for 6 Georgian House, Trinity Street, in the trading name of Curriocity.
The premises was previously used as a shop and computer repair business and is next door to a similar business which will remain.
The application says the premises will operate as a 50-55 seat restaurant and a take-away with freshly prepared Indian and Asian cuisine, operating from mid-day until 10pm, although until 11pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays – with an extended service until half past midnight on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve and on some other special occasions or for private events.
The designated premises supervisor has been named as Arun Raj who currently holds a personal licence issued by Leicester City Council.
Public comments on the application remain open until December 3rd.
