Do you have the heart to care? Whether you're experienced or brand new to care, Agincare would like to hear from you.

The Dorset-based care provider is looking people who share its passion for caring, offering flexible working patterns from full-time, permanent jobs or work for a few weeks of the year.

As well as offering competitive pay, welcome bonus, free induction training, ongoing support, career progression opportunities and a range of rewards, there is also the job satisfaction of making a valuable difference and caring and supporting those who need it.

Care home assistant Sansom Bailey - who has worked at Cheriton Care Home in Dorchester as well as Weymouth's Trafalgar Care Home and Wimborne's Waterloo Care Home - wanted to do his bit during the pandemic so decided to join Agincare in Wimborne.

He said: "I decided to give care a go and found it quite different from any other job I had done before, but I enjoyed it so much that I decided to carry on until I left for Uni.

"I was familiar with Agincare from when they looked after my grandmother and knew about the kind of care she received, which was centred around her own individual needs."

As well as care within Agincare's 21 care homes, there are also roles in domiciliary care, where care workers visit clients in their own home to deliver care and support to help them retain their independence.

With live-in care, a care worker moves in with a client to deliver consistent care, including assisting with medication and complex care, through to helping around the house and providing companionship.
