Three giant inflatable sculptures have temporarily set up home in Dorchester's Borough Gardens.
Jason and the Argonauts has arrived in town and people will be able to see the impressive sculptures again tomorrow (Tuesday).
Artist Jason Wilsher-Mills has been working with Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum since 2015 and they had wanted to do something that focuses on disability.
"In 2019 we got funding from the Arts Council to create a VR video game, which is going to be launched on Wednesday, plus the sculpture Jason and the Argonauts."
Taking inspiration from his ancient namesake, who sought out the bravest Greek heroes to travel with him on his epic journey, Jason replicated that journey around the UK and focused on working with people with disabilities and school in Dorchester.
"The project has had Dorchester right at its heart," he added.
Covid put a pause on the project, but Jason is back in Dorchester.
"It's absolutely beautiful to be here in a spirit of celebration and freedom to be amongst friends and to celebrate and acknowledge the work and to be able to talk and engage with the public about it - they have been fantastic," he said.
"The work has been produced in the spirit of activism of social justice and the area is known for the Tolpuddle Martyrs, six men who said 'we're not having this, we can change this' and they didn't change thigs by shouting. I don't shout at people; I make them smile and I can talk to them about the issues that relate to what it is to be disabled in 2021 and all that amazing stuff."
Jason explained that around 60 per cent of the people who were most affected by Covid were people with disabilities.
He added: "Disabled people have been absolutely decimated through this horrible disease and I want to highlight the fact that there are people out there who are struggling, that are lonely, carers that had no support and they are the heroes of this nation. I want to highlight these incredible lives that lived.
"It's my job as an artist to draw attention to that and this is my tribute to that community."
Jason is encouraging people to go along to experience the VR game when it goes live on Thursday at Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum.
"It's a really special thing that has been gifted to Shire Hall and it's going to be there forever. They are going to be able to enter this world - it's going to blow their socks off."
