The team at Vision Express in Dorchester are busy baking and will be donning wacky glasses to raise money for charity.

On Wednesday, October 13 from 9am, they will be trying to raise as much money as possible for Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT) and the Macular Society to mark World Sight Day.

There will be a bake sale and raffle, as well as a huge sale of artwork, including local places, cartoons, and employee - and local artist - Sam Zambelli's popular caricatures.

She will also be reducing her prices online, which can be found here for the whole of October, with all profits going to CHECT, as well as being sponsored to wear massive joke glasses for the whole day, creating smiles around the town.

Donations can also be made online at virginmoneygiving/com

The Macular Society is a charity for anyone affected by central vision loss. its aim is to beat the fear and isolation of macular disease with research, advice and support.

CHECT is dedicated to helping families and individuals affected by retinoblastoma, a rare form of eye cancer.
