A Dorchester-based make-up artist who worked on the film set of Lawrence: After Arabia is sharing her knowledge and experience with others.

Kirsten Sare will be hosting a make-up workshop at the Duchess of Cornwall pub on Tuesday, May 24 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Kirsten would regularly hold workshops, teaming up with another Poundbury business, before the pandemic, and feels now is the right time to bring them back.

She said: "My workshops are not designed to sell you anything, except for my many years expertise, experience and advice in how you can either make a minor change with what you already have or how to use those products that we may have been sold or gifted and don't know what to do with or are ready to overhaul your make-up bag but are unsure as to what to buy and we can talk and learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

"Please bring with you your own make-up as well as brushes and a mirror if you wanted to practice with my guidance."

The Duchess of Cornwall pub is also offering 15 per cent off food for those attending the workshop, which will be held in a closed off area upstairs.

As a 'welcome back' price, the workshop costs £10 per person and spaces are limited to 12.
