Dorchester: Police appeal for witnesses after man is pinned between HGV and Range Rover

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was pinned between a lorry and Range Rover.

Dorset Police was called at 9.22am today (Tuesday, August 31) to reports of an injury collision in Weymouth Avenue near to Tesco, involving a pedestrian who was directing a HGV and became entangled with the load, causing him to be pinned between it and a parked Range Rover.

The pedestrian, a man in his 40s and from Taunton, sustained minor injuries.

Police Constable Donal Doyle, of the traffic unit, said; "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the relevant time and witnessed the incident to please contact Dorset Police.

"I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have captures any of the incident on dashcam."
