Dorchester police increase riverside patrols amid reports of swans and ducks shot by catapults

Dorchester Neighbourhood Policing Team has increased patrols around the river following recent reports of ducks and swans being shot at with catapults.

There has been numerous dead ducks located in the River Walk area in recent weeks.

Dorset Police urge members of the public to report any suspicious incidents by calling 101 or 999 if crime is in progress
