A DORCHESTER restaurant is asking for a Premises Licence to sell alcohol.

The Oak Room in Antelope Walk, off South Street, had made the request to Dorset Council in the name of Seventy Four by Matt Ltd with a registered address in Dorchester.

It asks for the licence to start at the end of November with alcohol sales possible from 8am until 11pm every day, with an extension until 1am for New Year's celebrations.

Public comments on the application remain open until October 29th.
