Dorchester roadworks: Here's what's taking place this week

Here are some of the roadworks coming up that could cause delays to motorists:

Until July 20, Highways England will be doing works on the A35 westbound between the A37 and the junction with the A3066 and the road will be closed.

From July 19 to 21, Wessex Water will be carrying out works in Waterson Lane. Delays are likely.

The B3143, Piddlehinton, will be closed on July 21 while BT carries out works. The diversion route will be via the A3030, A352, Tiley Knapp, Revels Hill, Gales Hill, Herrison Road, North Street, A37, B3147 and B3143.

Wessex Water will be carrying out works in Bockhampton Lane on July 21 and 22. Delays are possible.

On July 22, there will be roadworks in Albert Road and stop/go boards will be in operation.

SGN will be carrying out works on Monmouth Road from July 22 to 29. There will be traffic controls in place.

From July 23 to 30, the A35 from Stinsford roundabout to Bere Regis will be closed from 8pm to 6am while Highways England resurfaces the road. Diversion signs will be in place.

Briantspuddle Bridge will be closed between June 28 and August 6 in order for bridge maintenance to be carried out. A signed diversion route will be in place.
