Wet and rather windy weather will soon clear from eastern parts, to leave a generally dry and increasingly sunny day across the region. It will remain breezy, although temperatures will be very mild for late October. Maximum temperature 18 °C.

The evening will start fine with clear spells. However, clouds will thicken from the south to bring further wet and blustery weather overnight. The rain should ease towards the morning. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

Saturday:

Saturday morning looks rather cloudy with the occasional outbreak of rain lingering. The rain should ease during the afternoon though, with a few brighter breaks possible. Brisk winds again too. Maximum temperature 19 degrees.

Outlook for Sunday:

A mix of sunshine and scattered heavy showers is expected on Sunday. Monday should begin fine, but it will turn wet and very windy.
