We've picked some events happening in and around the town this weekend for you to enjoy:
Back again for the mesmerising and atmospheric Halloween Firework display at the beautiful Minterne House.
Hot food available throughout the evening whilst glowing by the huge bonfire, then take in the excitement and anticipation before the mega fireworks.
Gates open at 6pm with the firework display starting at 7:30pm.
Ghost hunt at Dorchester Prison.

Saturday: Halloween ghost hunt in Brewery Square
Halloween Ghost Hunt is back this October on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October from 10am until 4pm.
Saturday: Drinks in the Clink: Spells in the Cells
A brilliant and unique night out for any school of wizardry fan.
Saturday: Fangtastic Magic Show
Mr Merlin - a winner of the coveted 'UK Children's Entertainer Of The Year', is coming to Brewery Square this Halloween for a Fangtastic Magic Show.
Sunday: Poundbury Independent Market
The most amazing Dorset makers, producers and artists will once again be lining the streets of Poundbury on Sunday 30th October.
Sunday: Roast at The Club House
Spend your Sunday at The Club House.
Two courses for £20 and three courses for £25 for a starter, main or a main and dessert.
Go on a ghost hunt around the Great Field, start at PiPs cafe and community room to collect your instructions and head off on the hunt. Once completed you can claim your free ghost hunt prize at the community room. Arts and crafts are also on offer and the cafe will have a special kids tea time menu! Family fun on Sunday 30th October from 3:30pm - 5:30pm. Bring a torch after dark.
