An incident in the Fordington area is being investigated.

A man has been linked by police in connection with a spate of anti-social behaviour in Dorchester that saw cars covered in dog faeces.

The 56-year-old was detained by police on Saturday, 30 September following discovery of the material on cars in the Fordington area of Dorchester.

He agreed to a voluntary police interview.

Investigating officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

PC Glen Caddy said: "This has caused a great deal of stress and inconvenience for residents living in the area.

"I am keen to speak to anyone who was around at the time of the reported incidents who may have witnessed what happened or captured anything of relevance on their camera doorbell or home security systems."
