On-call crew from the town's fire station were deployed to help rescue a person who fell down a riverbank in Dorchester.

The incident happened near Glyde Path Road before 1.30pm yesterday (Saturday, 30 September)

A spokesperson from the station said: "After using specialist equipment, fire crews managed to rescue the casualty as efficiently and as quickly as possible."
