The monthly lunchtime concert series at St Peter's Church, Dorchester, continues this Saturday 18 May between 12.30pm and 1.00pm with a recital of music for trumpet and organ, performed by Winston Leese and Ian Davis.

Winston studied at the Royal Northern College of Music, where he also taught in the junior department.

Over his long career as a professional trumpeter he was a member of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Orchestra, worked on several West End shows and with various opera and ballet companies.

He has been based in Dorset since 1985 where he continues to teach and perform professionally. Winston's programme includes music by Archer, Stanley, Purcell and Clarke.

This is a free event to which all are very welcome.
