The Dorchester Park4FREE days are back this year in the run up to Christmas.

Shoppers can park for free in most Dorset Council-run car parks - not including on-street parking - on Saturday, November 20, Saturday, November 27, Small Business Saturday on December 4 and Wednesday, December 22, as well as December 27 and 28 and January 3.

The car parks include Acland Road, Durngate Street, Fairfield short stay and long stay, Old Market, Top O Town short stay, long stay and commercial, Trinity Street south and Wollaston Field.

The Park4FREE days have been organised by Dorchester BID in association with Dorchester Town Council and Dorset Council.

A spokesman said: "We hope the initiative will give a boost to the town's businesses on the run up to Christmas. We thank you for supporting local businesses in Dorchester this Christmas, it is very much appreciated.

"Dorchester BID would like to thank the councils for their support with the scheme."
