To help families this summer holidays, children can visit Shire Hall Museum for just £1.
Dorchester's former courtroom and cells brings over 200 years of justice and injustice and prices have been reduced to help with the cost of living crisis.
Abbie King, director at Shire Hall Museum, said: "With the cost of living rising, we know that the summer holidays will be difficult for a lot of families. As a social justice museum, it's really important to us that we support our community, who mean so much to us. This is why we've made the decision to reduce children's museum tickets to £1 for the summer holidays."
As well as reducing its ticket prices for children, Shire Hall Museum also donated 80 family tickets to local food banks and schools to help its community during the cost of living crisis.
Families visiting Shire Hall Museum can explore the historic cells, dress up in the courtroom and discover stories from the past using the museum's interactive guides.
This summer holiday is also the last chance to catch the museum's incredible Agatha Christie exhibition, which closes on September 2. It explores the life and works of the crime writer and features objects, books, artwork and other items from a private collection.
