Coronavirus cases across Dorset remain low with no people in hospital recovering from Covid-19.
Public Health Dorset reports there are 20 confirmed cases in the last seven days in the Dorset Council area, compared to 30 on May 14, and 35 in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council area, compared to 47 on May 14.
The seven-day case rate per 100,000 of the population in the Dorset Council area is 5.3, compared to 7.9 on May 14, and 8.9 in the BCP Council area, compared to 11.9 on May 14.
There are no Covid-19 patients in hospital beds in Dorset, compared to two on May 14.
A spokesman for Public Health Dorset said: "Local case rates remain at low levels, with a further small decrease in both Dorset Council and BCP Council areas again this week. Across Dorset, we now have zero Covid-19 patients in hospital.
"We encourage all adults to take part in twice-weekly rapid testing. This will help us keep cases low in Dorset by identifying and isolating people who have Covid-19 but aren't showing any symptoms. As life opens back up, this will prevent people from unknowingly spreading the virus to those they come into contact with. You can get assisted tests or collect kits at one of our community sites, pick kits up from a participating pharmacy, or order them online. Find out more about how to take part in rapid testing.
"Rapid testing is for anyone without Covid-19 symptoms. If you have a new, continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss or change in your sense of taste or smell, you must self-isolate with your household and book a PCR test.
"We also encourage everyone to take up the offer of a vaccine when it's your turn. We are seeing increasing evidence on the effectiveness of the vaccine, and it is one of the best ways you can protect yourself and others. Over three quarters of a million doses have been given in Dorset already, so make sure you book yours when it's your turn and don't forget to attend your second appointment for maximum protection."
