The proposed cafe/shop and island layout

A CAFE, adventure play area, beach and tennis courts have been approved for Osprey Island, part of the Silverlake development in a former quarry at Crossways.

The proposal includes garden plots and boat stores with landscaping and car parking.

The island will not have any holiday homes on it – with Osprey Island the central island for Deanesly Point and Dundas Bay which will offer leisure facilities.

Holiday homeowners purchasing a waterfront plot in Deanesly Point will have a private island garden plot included in their purchase, whilst other holiday homeowners in the area will have the opportunity to lease a leisure plot with the option to add a pergola or beach hut on the island.
