Say 'thank you' to mum this Mother's Day with a delicious meal in a beautiful location right on the beach.

To impress mum this year, chefs at The Club House have created a modern, seasonal menu with fish dishes, classic Sunday roast and a range of deserts to choose from.

The Club House, in West Bexington, is right on Chesil Beach, so perfect for a pre-lunch walk along the pebbles - or afterwards and sit and enjoy the sunset.

This year, The Club House is having three sittings for Mother's Day - Sunday, March 27 - starting at 12noon, with two courses for £20 and three courses for £26.95.

There is a choice of starters, including: saffron infused seafood chowder of Atlantic hake, Scottish salmon and smoked haddock, finished with truffle oil, or Chesil Smokery smoked duck breast and Tamarisk Farm salad with grilled pear, toasted walnuts and a red wine vinaigrette.

To follow is a choice of roast - braised beef short rib, lemon and thyme roast chicken or honey roasted gammon - or if that doesn't take your fancy, then roast catch of the day, Club House fish and chips or gnocchi and Isle of Wight tomatoes - complete with fresh truffles, shaved parmesan and truffle oil.

If you still have room for dessert, then there is rhubarb and apple crumble, white chocolate cheesecake, chocolate mousse and more.

The Club House's mixologist, Fefe Kovacs, has also created a special cocktail for the occasion, Mum's The Word, as well as an extensive selection of cocktails to choose from.

It's best to book early and tables are expected to fill up quickly.
