More than 100 people came together in Dorchester to pray for the crisis in Ukraine.

Christians from a number of churches gathered by the war memorial in South Walks Road on Sunday.

Pastor Mark Topp, Pastor of The Storehouse Church and chairman of Churches Together in Dorchester: "As the current chairman of Churches Together in Dorchester I was really encouraged by the response of churches and their congregations across the town. To see Christians from various denominations and streams of Christianity coming together in unity to pray was inspiring and both humbling.

"This was the first of many responses from the Churches Together in Dorchester.

"Many churches have taken up special collections for aid and many members of various congregations are volunteering and supporting local efforts of support."
