The Hive Beach Café in Burton Bradstock has just released its third cookbook, helping to raise funds for Guide Dogs UK.

Following its previous two successful recipe books, 'The Hive Beach Café Cookbook; Volume III' features a variety of recipes – from seafood to pasta, breakfast pancakes to pizza – contributed by chefs at The Hive Beach Café and its sister restaurants, The Watch House Café in West Bay, and The Club House in West Bexington.

A spokesperson for The Hive said: "With comfort food classics such as our stomach warming fish pie, simple pancakes to create a breakfast for champions, sensational summer salads and flavoursome fish dishes this cookbook will have your mouth watering with proper food for your soul.

"Food should be there to make you happy and that is what we have endeavoured to do with this cookbook. Our chefs from across all three of our coastal venues walk you through how to make some of our popular and classic dishes. Not to mention a cocktail guide and bakery bites.

"This book has something to tempt even the fussiest of eaters! Available to purchase from our on-site farm shop, or online."

The Hive's chefs' passion for sustainability and sourcing the freshest ingredients are at the heart of the recipes featured, so you can now get a taste of Dorset in your own home, inspired by the team behind the three Jurassic Coast restaurants.

Celebrity chef and 'Masterchef' judge John Torode has also contributed his crab linguine recipe to the cookbook, which he cooked at The Club House on Chesil Beach for ITV's 'This Morning', when he was interrupted by a helicopter landing during filming.

He commented: "The Hive, situated on the lovely Chesil Beach, is a joy, even when being buzzed by a chopper whilst cooking a bowl of pasta!"

The Hive will be raising funds for Guide Dogs UK, through which it is sponsoring the naming and training of a puppy, with £2 from every cookbook sold going towards the charity.

Every hour another person in the UK goes blind. When someone loses their sight, the charity Guide Dogs ensures that they don't lose their freedom as well.

You can now purchase the cookbook from The Hive Beach Café farm shop at Burton Bradstock, or order online by clicking here.
