Police investigating a burglary at a building site in Dorchester are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Between 6pm on Wednesday, April 7 and 7.30am on Thursday, April 8, an address being renovated off Alington Road was burgled.
An internal door has been forced to gain entry to the building.
A number of tools have been stolen, including Dewalt cordless tools. All of the stolen tools have been marked with 'DBS' either to the side of the tool or on the battery area.
Police Constable James Curtis-Burchett, of Dorchester police, said: "I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area and has not yet spoken to police to please get in touch.
"I would urge anyone who has seen any tools with the 'DBS' marking for sale locally in unusual circumstances to please contact Dorset Police.
"Finally, please can residents check their home CCTV systems during the timeframe for any relevant footage to assist my enquiries."
