Professor Sir Hilary Beckles will be joining Stand Up To Racism this evening to talk on 'Britain's First and Last Slavery Family: The Drax Heritage and Legacy'.

The event follows Bridport Town Council giving it's support to Stand Up To Racism's open letter to MP Richard Drax, calling on him to return Drax Hall Estate in Barbados to the people there.

Sir Hilary Beckles is chairman of the CARICOM Reparations Commission and will join the meeting this evening (Tuesday) at 7.30pm over Zoom and Facebook live.

It is set to be the biggest online event the group has ever done.

It is free to attend and details can be found here.
