Dorset Food and Drink's pop-up market returned to Dorchester's Borough Gardens on Saturday and it was a great success.

With a range of stalls from Fordington Gin, A Jar Of, Fussels, Lizzie Baking Bird, Dorset Coffee Company, Weymouth 51, Buckshaw Milk Sheep, Bridge Farm Cider, Elaionaki, Becky White Delights and Dorset Wildlife Trust, traders enjoyed a successful - and in some cases sell-out - day.

Caz Richards, of Dorset Food and Drink, said: "Sunshine and sell-outs - our traders couldn't be more pleased.

"Good to see lots of local people shopping in the fresh air and supporting local producers in a socially distanced way. It was a winning combination.

"With so much support right now from the public for local producers and independent businesses, there's never been a better time to shout about what Dorset Food and Drink and Dorset Farmers Market members do, who they are and where they do it.

"We will be back on Saturday, May 29 from 10am to 2pm."

Other dates for the market in the Borough Gardens are:

  • Saturday, June 26
  • Saturday, July 31
  • Saturday, August 28
  • Saturday, September 25
  • Saturday, October 30
