Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after two people who claimed to have a weapon stole food from a shop in Dorchester.
At approximately 6.30am on Saturday, April 22, two male offenders entered Co-op in Trinity Street and took pizzas and sandwiches from the shelves.
When challenged by staff, it is reported that they pretended they had a weapon, however no weapon was seen.
The offenders are described as white, aged in their late teens and had their hoods up covering their faces. One of them was wearing a grey, white and black camouflage jacket while the other person was wearing a black quilted jacket with a body warmer over the top and a grey and black tracksuit.
Police Constable Mike Rumsby, of Dorchester police, said: "Officers carried out searches to locate the suspects but unfortunately, they were not found.
"I am appealing to anyone who was in the shop and may have witnessed the incident, or saw two people acting suspiciously in the area around the relevant time, to please come forward.
"Also, I would ask motorists travelling in the vicinity of Trinity Street to please check their dashcam footage for anything that may show the two offenders in the area."
